The bright blue sky bled into the dark sea, clouds barely dotting the horizon. There were no white beaches—instead, rocky craigs dotted the shorelines with little tide pools that held entire worlds. The rolling green hills behind you were scattered with large stones, the remains of collapsed castles and keeps, the grand structures now the playgrounds of young children and shade for the sheep. Salty air filled your lungs from the soft crashing of waves, and you could hear the sound of sheep coming down the distant path as the wind whistled through the stones.
