Many of our items are handmade and we recommend that you hand wash any items that have wood or brass components.

Just like your mom said growing up: it should be washed by hand, and don't let it sit in water. We will add that and say it enjoys a good oiling when it's feeling dull—use mineral oil or board oil.

We have a small but thoughtful selection of housewares that we think are great additions to a cheese board. But really, you don't need anything specific to use our cheese collections to make a beautiful cheese board.

Unfortunately not, our cheese board collections are set and not customizable, but you can add on fun items to personalize the box, such as cheese knives, bowls and gift cards to make it special.

Allergens are listed on the product pages that contain food. In the cheese board collections, they are listed under the specific cheeses and pairings.

We recommend enjoying your board within a week of delivery in order to get the best experience!

Each cheese collection lists a recommended range of how many people it serves.

While only you can know if your family are picky eaters, each cheese collection offers a variety of cheeses and pairings, so it is a good way to try new things! We do include a list of everything in the box on the collections page so you know what you're getting. Occasional we may need to substitute something similar if a product becomes unavailable.

We recommend you read our How to Wrap Cheese lesson, but for a quick recap: in the best case scenario, storing your cheese in your refrigerator encased in cheese paper and then a plastic or glass container provides the best environment. You can also wrap your cheese in parchment paper or wax paper, if necessary, but check on it frequently.

We ship to the contiguous US only and we cannot deliver to PO boxes.

All perishable deliveries are packed with gel packs and insulation to keep items cold for their 1-2 day time in transit. Our shipping team watches the weather and will try and contact you if they think your shipment should be held or delayed for severe weather. We always want your cheese to arrive safely!

Our gel packs are meant to keep your food cool for during shipment, but they will likely be close to room temp by the time you receive them. As long as the cheese is room temp or cooler, then it is okay to enjoy. But we highly recommend that you keep an eye on the tracking info so that you can whisk your cheeses straight into the fridge upon arrival.

Yes, we have special boxes that can include both a cheese collection and other houseware items. If your purchase is too big to fit in our special boxes, we'll send two at the same time!
