Cleo was very particular about the lollipops she carried at the office. In the pediatric doctor circle, she was the lollipop tester, answering questions like: How intense was the flavor? Did it cut your mouth? Did the lollipop stick disintegrate before you finished the lollipop? These were the important questions to test. She took her job seriously, so much so that she sewed a lollipop patch to her coat sleeve. Whenever a child asked about it in the office, she would be quick to respond that she made sure the lollipops were extra good for them—and she never had any complaints in her 33 years of practice.
