Cheese Lyre

Bri’s Human Factors Psychology professor was a character. He would sit cross-legged on the floor after asking a difficult, open-ended question, waiting for someone to answer. And he would have a constant stream of gum flowing in and out of his mouth. Bri always thought they learned more about human tendencies from him than the textbook itself.

On that particular day, in the midst of one of his silent treatments, Bri thought, “Industrial engineering is all about streamlining processes, but at its simplest level, it’s about understanding people and how they operate.” They chuckled to themself, “Unless everyone on the production line is like him and just sits down quietly until they can formulate an answer to a problem.”
