Pinch Bowl

Aura lifted the lid of one of the hundreds of fishbowl containers, this one filled with gummy sharks. They grabbed the tongs, loaded up a bag to be weighed at the counter, and then headed out to meet their friend Maddie at St. Anna’s tunnel. While Aura loved swimming, they also loved knowing they were underwater without actually having to tread water. As they made their way down the wooden escalator with Maddie by their side, they pulled a gummy shark from the bag and bit its tail off.

“Want one?” Aura tilted the bag in Maddie’s direction.

Maddie laughed “One? You have a whole pound of them!” She stole a fistful from the bag and ran down the rest of the escalator stairs, Aura trailing her closely.
